Dawn Alexander is a Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist with the Agency for International Development (USAID). She leads Internal Communications, focusing on institutionalization agency-wide to further the One USAID global community in support of the Agency’s mission and core values. Prior to joining USAID, she was the Digital Subject Matter Expert and Acting Branch Chief for Events and Training for the Federal Acquisition Service within the General Services Administration.

Prior to her government service, Dawn was a vice president and director of global marketing for several private-sector organizations. Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Oberlin College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. In addition, she has completed public policy and administration fellowships with the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government and the University of Washington.
